Hello Everyone,
My name is Mustafa Karakaya, and I am the founder of CatLoversForum.com. I’m 42 years old, happily married, and living in one of the most beautiful cities in the world – Istanbul. By profession, I work as a civil servant at Istanbul Grand Airport. But beyond that, my true passions lie in web design, online advertising, and of course, cats! In my free time, I enjoy working on web-based projects, often collaborating with corporate clients.
My wife and I have been married for 16 years, but due to health reasons, we don’t have children. Four years ago, I was going through a tough time in my personal life. Knowing my deep love for cats, my wife decided to bring some joy into my life. She surprised me with a tiny stray kitten, just recently weaned. We named him “Ponçik.”
Ponçik brought new energy and light into our home. Over time, my mental health improved, and I found myself rediscovering happiness. Since adopting Ponçik, my wife and I have also started caring for stray cats in our neighborhood. It feels as if all the cats in the world are now part of our extended family.
This love for cats, combined with my passion for web design, inspired me to create this forum. This is not just my forum – it’s ours. It’s a place for everyone who loves cats and wants to connect, share, and grow together. Let’s nurture this forum like a kitten and watch it flourish as a community.

Why Did I Create This Forum?
